The path in front of the entrance of the Henry Art Gallery is heavily traveled by thousands of UW students daily. However, very few students have actually visited this gallery, and the goal of this intervention is to spark curiosity in passersby to at least acknowledge the large gallery space below their very feet. With the creation of a crevice for people to peer down into, the Henry Art Gallery can position special display pieces or lights to catch the interest of people walking by.
